I have had several digital cameras over the last few years. By far the best have been my two Canons, starting with an EOS XTi I picked up a few years back. I now use that one exclusively with my  Canon 70-300 mm zoom lense for long-distance shots (always mountains).

Late last year I picked up this EOS 7D, which I use for most all of my close-up and medium-range shots. It is truly an amazing camera, albeit considerably larger and heavier than the average digital, including the XTi.
