A Great Northern mallet pulls a small Canadian Pacific
heavyweight passenger consist out of Cicely
The east approach to the Cicely town model, which is protected by this 18 X 32
foot structure from effects of precipitation and wind. After this photo was
taken a canopy was added to the south-facing side (left) to further protect the
structure, vehicle and train models from the direct UV effects of the sun. In
the far north (here) the sun strikes from a very low angle from the south,
creating intense UV effects during the summer.
