Shown is the end of the track as of June. By August, this segment had been extended to include a new railroad wye configuration based on this historic Sulphur Springs wye at the end of the tracks of the Klondike Mines Railway. | As of mid-June, 2010, the Phase II ALCANEX line had been extended to the projected end of that part of the three-phase project. The G-gauge, 1:24 scale model railroad system had reached the ground, marking the beginning of the Phase III segment, the Klondike Mines Railway at a historic point known as the Sulphur Springs Wye. In 2011, work will resume on the model railroad within the new 1:20.3 scale narrow-gauge area. --R Simpson, builder | ||
